Sending Items

DeskConnect for Mac is designed to make sharing files and data easy, efficient, and most importantly, natural. You shouldn’t have to worry about some long and tedious process – just click or drag and you’re done! Prefer keyboard shortcuts? DeskConnect supports sending by entering a system-wide hotkey of your choice.

If you want to share the window that you’re currently working in, like a document or website, simply click on the DeskConnect icon at the top of your screen and choose a device to send the content to.

Sending by Dragging

To send a document or file you have saved on your computer, just drag the file from your desktop or from Finder to the DeskConnect icon at the top of your screen, and choose which device should receive the file.

Sending the Clipboard

DeskConnect allows you to share the contents of your Mac’s clipboard with another device. After copying, for example, a receipt number, a URL, or even a photo, click on the DeskConnect icon at the top of your screen, and under Send clipboard to…, choose the correct device.

Sending Phone Calls

DeskConnect integrates with your Mac's Contacts app to dial your iPhone for you. To start a call on your iPhone from the Contacts app, click on the title of the phone number you want to dial (for example, "mobile" or "work") and then choose "Call via DeskConnect."
